Keep Your Feathered Friends and Other Small Animals Hydrated and Healthy During Warm Weather

As temperatures climb, ensuring that birds and small animals have access to fresh, clean water becomes more essential than ever. Just like us, our feathered and furry friends rely on water to stay hydrated, regulate their body temperature, and support vital organ functions.

Birds and small animals are particularly sensitive to contaminants in their water supply. Bacteria, protozoa, and even viruses can easily multiply in warm, stagnant water, especially in the hotter months. These pathogens can cause a range of illnesses, from digestive issues to more severe health conditions that could compromise their well-being.

In addition to hydration, clean water is fundamental to supporting digestive health. When water sources become contaminated, birds and small animals are at risk of ingesting harmful organisms, which can disrupt digestion and weaken the immune system. So, keeping their water free from these unwanted organisms can make a big difference in their daily health.

Introducing Aviclens: Keep Water Clean and Healthier for Longer

Aviclens is a safe and effective water additive that helps keep your pets' drinking water cleaner, fresher, and free from green slime formation. By reducing the buildup of water-borne organisms, Aviclens minimises the risk of contamination in your pet's water.

With Aviclens in your pet's water, you’ll notice:

  • Reduced Green Slime Formation: Helps to prevent the unsightly green slime that can often build up on water containers, making them much easier to maintain.
  • Improved Digestive Health: Aviclens assists with crop and digestive health by reducing protozoa and bacteria that often proliferate in warm water, promoting a cleaner drinking experience.
  • Extended Freshness: Aviclens keeps water cleaner longer, reducing the frequency of water changes required and giving you peace of mind that your pet's water is safe.

How to Use Aviclens:

For the best results, follow these simple directions when adding Aviclens to your pet’s water:

  1. Shake Well Before Use: Ensure the ingredients are evenly mixed.
  2. Mix with Water: Add 1ml of Aviclens to 2 litres of fresh water.
  3. Regular Water Changes: During warm weather, change the water every 1-2 days to prevent stagnation; in cooler weather, water can be changed every 3-4 days.
  4. For Seed Soaking: Aviclens-treated water can also be used as a seed-soaking solution. Simply soak seeds for up to 24 hours.

Note: Aviclens is compatible with any in-water vitamin and mineral supplements, but it should not be used with parasite control products, antibiotics, or probiotics.

As you care for your feathered friends and other pets in the warmer months, remember that a little extra attention to their water quality can have a big impact on their health and happiness. A safe, consistent source of clean water—boosted with Aviclens—will keep your feathered friends comfortable, hydrated, and in top shape all summer long.
